Photography Timeline

Here is an overview of our photography time. Since our time at the venue is limited, we would like for this to be as organized and prompt as possible. We are currently working on making hard copies available as well. Hopefully, with everyone on the same page, we can start partying as soon as possible!

Train Schedule

The attractions of New York City are less than an hour away from The Madison Hotel. New Jersey Transit’s Midtown Direct Express is literally a one minute walk from the front door of the Madison Hotel and can transport guests to New York City’s Penn Station, the heart of Midtown. Here is a link to a pdf of the train station schedule that passes through Morristown. We are currently working on making hard copies available for our guests.

Registry Info

I know the registry can be a controversial topic, so I'm just going to be as straightforward about it as possible. Hopefully, this will be cool with everyone. Shameer and I would prefer you contribute to our house fund. The picture above is a locked box that we will have at our wedding for your cards if you choose to write a check. If you would like to directly deposit into our house savings account please email Shameer directly for more information at shameer.bolanos@gmail.com, for those of you who prefer to give gifts, we have registered at an Amazon, Crate and Barrel, and Williams and Sonoma.

Photo Sharing

We wanted to have an organized system so everyone can easily share everyone's wedding photos.

For those of you on Instagram, please label your photos with the hashtag #laurenandshameer so that the photos can be easily searchable. Here is a link to Lauren's Instagram Profile if you would like to follow her photos.

For those of you who want to download the photos with #laurenandshameer hashtag you will need a Instagram account to login to Instaport. Select the option "photos #tagged with" then enter #laurenandshameer. Click the button that says new export, then when your export is complete, click the link that says download only. This will be downloaded as a zip file.

On Lauren's Dropbox we have a folder wedding_photos. Please leave your email in the comments if have dropbox and you wish to submit photos to  the wedding_photos folder. After the wedding, when we have collected all the photos into the wedding_photos folder, we will share the link to that folder. Even if you have not signed up for Dropbox, you will be able to download the photos.

We also have a Facebook page for our wedding where we can upload the photos, as soon as they are all accounted for in dropbox.

Very Important: Hotel Room Blocking Update

This is a very important update for everyone who intends to book a hotel room through our room block at the Madison Hotel. Another wedding party on Saturday night (the same day as our wedding) forgot to reserve their room block. According to our hotel contract, we have the rooms blocked "until May 1st, 2014 (the cut-off date) at which time any rooms not reserved by your guests will be automatically released back into our reservation system." It is likely that these rooms will automatically be given to that other wedding party as soon as they are released from our contract. Therefore, we encourage everyone to book as soon as possible, so everyone is happily settled with their accommodations. Check out our post on how to Room Block at the Madison Hotel if you have not done so already. Obviously, we will not be releasing our rooms earlier since we have so many out of town guests. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
